Wat zijn voor hen opzienbarende, verrassende, onbegrijpelijke of aantrekkelijke kanten van de Nederlandse cultuur? Deze bundel bevat de beste inzendingen, geselecteerd door Emmeline Besamusca (red.), Wiljan van den Akker en Esther Jansma.
Studenten presenteren hun persoonlijke ervaringen en observaties en reflecteren op noemenswaardige, frustrerende of fascinerende Nederlandse gewoonten. Gordijnen die niet dichtgaan, onvermijdelijke koffiepauzes, informeel contact met docenten, eigengereide individualisten die wel een theezakje delen: Nederlandse cultuur door een buitenlandse bril.
