In conjunction with the author's Vedic Grammar, the Reader aims at supplying all that is required for the complete understanding of the selection. About the Author

Arthur Anthony Macdonell, M.A., Ph.D. (1854-1930), of Corpus Christi College, Oxford, was Boden Professor of Sanskrit and Fellow of Balliol.
