The purpose of this study was to investigate the impact of music technology to basic music teaching and learning; as it enhances general music education and as it can assist to achieve the set objectives of music education. It also featured some views and contributions of some scholars and musicologists on some concepts, theories, and empirical findings that are relevant to this study. It was observed that all the students and teachers are not exposed to music technology. Some teachers were indifferent to the acquisition of computer/laptop and technology knowledge to enhance teaching. The students were overwhelmingly willing to be exposed to music technology.
