About the Author:

Marcel Rius (Barcelona, 1970) is a self-taught photographer. He started out as an assistant to commercial and editorial photographers, then began working on his own. He has been living in Mexico for five years. His photographs are essentially documentary, but guided by his own aesthetic approach. He works with electronic flashes and various formats, but prefers analog photography. His work has been featured in Spain and Mexico.
