Synopsis
This series takes advantage of the critical role that nurses play in modern health care and displays the depth of nurses' knowledge on complex health issues. Why nurses? While the causes are unknown, insulin resistance, diabetes, hirsutism and obesity are all strongly correlated with PCOS. About the Author
Karen Roush, RN, MSN, FNP, was the Editorial Director of the American Journal of Nursing from 2004 - 2008. She has published numerous articles on nursing related topics as well as essays and poetry. Karen has been a nurse for over 25 years, and specializes in women's issues.
