Synopsis
British band Oasis have found themselves featured on national news on TV and radio, as well as on the front pages of the tabloid press and features in the broadsheets. They are now firmly established as one of the top five bands in the world, having conquered the US markets as well. This is the inside story of Oasis by the man who discovered them playing in a Glasgow pub in 1993. Since their first single, he has kept a meticulous record of their lives, both professionally and personally. The book is based on some 100 hours of behind-the-scenes videos of the band on tour, recording, and hanging out, and on thousands of photographs. It is divided into three parts: the story so far; a diary of the band's world tour from the Autumn of 1995 through to the Spring of 1996; and a complete chronology of the band to date.
