Synopsis
Another book in the "Penhaligon's" series, bound with decorative slipcase and silk ribbon marker. The "Christmas" book is scented with Penhaligon's new fragrance, "Winter Garden", and contains carols and rhymes, poems and prose and extracts from the classics. The poems and prose extracts range from Samuel Pepys to Dylan Thomas and T.S.Eliot and the illustrations include biblical scenes from the Renaissance masters and skating scenes by 19th century masters. Sheila Pickles revived the declining Penhaligon company in 1975. She has published another selection of classics - "The Winter Garden".
