About the Author

Bill Mattos, the author, has been kayaking and canoeing since he was eight years old. He has competed in a variety of events, including freestyle kayaking to World Championship level as a member of the 1995 and 1997 Great Britain Freestyle Teams. Andy Middleton, consultant editor, is Chief Executive of TYF No Limits. He is a BCU Level 5 coach and experienced surfer, mountain biker and windsurfer.
