About the Author
Ben Reed has mixed cocktails all over the world, including stints in Hong Kong and South Africa. In 1997 he was named Cocktail Bartender of the Year in a competition sponsored by Absolut Vodka. Former bar manager of the fashionable Met Bar and Woody's in London, he now works as a bar consultant for IPBartenders. Ben has made several TV appearances and starred in the series Shaker Maker for the BBC. His popular column 'Barfly' ran in The Times Magazine and he has been featured in a wide range of publications - including Vogue, Red and GQ. He has written five best-selling books for Ryland Peters & Small - The Art of the Cocktail, Cool Cocktails, The Cocktail Hour, Martinis and Margaritas.
