His primary areas of research and training focus on educational technology, personalization, deeper learning, and civic education. He has worked with over 100 school districts, presented at renowned education conferences across the United States, and authored chapters for books from IGI Global and ISTE publishing. Previously, Tom served as Digital Learning Director for the Bristol Warren Regional School District (Rhode Island, USA) and taught high school social studies for two public school districts in Connecticut.
