David Bird has written over 100 books on bridge and has worked as bridge correspondent for the Mail on Sunday and the London Evening Standard. John Saunders is a regular columnist for Chess magazine, and acts as official reporter for major international chess events such as the London Chess Classic. He was editor of Britain's two leading chess magazines for 13 years.
