About the Author

For nearly 20 years, Silver Dolphin Books has published award-winning activity, novelty, and educational nonfiction books for preschoolers to 12-year-olds. Our focus is to create books that engage and inspire children to learn more about the world around them while fostering a love of reading, exploration, and creative expression. From adorably illustrated board books for toddlers, to interactive play and building sets, to sound books made for story time, we develop innovative books that both enlighten and entertain.

Madison LaRose is an award-winning illustrator specializing in children’s books, stationary, and products for children. Her work is developed digitally in order to create whimsical and friendly illustrations. She usually works in Adobe Photoshop or Procreate, depending on what the project requires. Madison received her BFA in 2018 at Massachusetts College Of Art majoring in Illustration. In 2020 she received her MFA in Illustration with distinction at Edinburgh College Of Art. Madison is originally from Rhode Island, U.S., and currently lives in London, UK. Apart from illustrating and designing, she also enjoy traveling, hiking, and she recently started a new hobby—rock climbing!
