Synopsis
In SECRETS OF THE TOAD -THE WIN, Jake is about to enter the playoffs bringing with him several questions. First, will he finally get his opportunity to pitch? Second, is there anything more important than playing ball? Third, will Jake step up to the plate when he witnesses bullying? Finally, should Jake go to see Tobias by himself, or does he dare take his sister, Emma, a non-stop talker, with him?

About the Author
My name is Patricia (Trisha) Page. I consider myself to be a complicated work in progress and a forever learner. I have a bachelor's degree in psychology and a master's in elementary education. My teaching career has expanded for over twenty years. I believe that this has given me insight into what children enjoy and what will benefit them. When teaching, I would tell my students, "Make your story come alive. Paint a picture with your words." I just loved seeing them get excited about their writing, and now I am excited about my own.I am writing a children's book series that deals with acceptance. The first book, SECRETS OF THE TOAD - REFLECTION, deals with the approval of self. SECRETS OF THE TOAD - PLAY BALL focuses on accepting adverse circumstances. This third book, SECRETS OF THE TOAD - THE WIN, deals with bullying and the acceptance of others. In all three books, wisdom and guidance are bestowed on siblings Jake and Emma as they experience magical journeys with the mystical toad Tobias.
