About the Author

Jennifer Taylor-Cox is the author of Differentiating in Number & Operation and the Other Math Content Standards, PreK - Grade 2. She is a nationally known educator who combines her experiences and expertise into practical advice for math educators who want to differentiate instruction. She is a teacher and an educational consultant who provides professional development in numerous districts across the United States, where she shares her passion and enthusiasm for mathematics education with teachers, administrators, students, and parents.

Christine Oberdorf is coauthor of Introduction to Connections (PreK-2 and 3-5), part of Heinemann's Math Process Standards Series. She is a math content coach with Montgomery County Public Schools in Maryland. She is a board representative for the Maryland Council of Teachers of Mathematics and serves as a consultant for various districts and school systems.
