Few commentaries are scholarly, practical, and interesting reading. Paige Patterson has given us a treatise that accomplishes all three. -Adrian Rogers First Baptist Church Memphis, Tennessee With genuine excitement I recommend 'A Pilgrim Priesthood'. Most commentaries put you to sleep - this one will wake you up. -H. Edwin Young Second Baptist Church Houston, Texas I am happy to recommend the commentary on 1 Peter by Dr. Paige Patterson to all of our Christian people around the world....I am confident this volume will make a great contribution to the lives of those who study it. -James T. Draper, Jr. President Southern Baptist Convention Written from a Bible believing, conservative point of view, it is both scholarly and practical, serious and devotional. Pastors, Sunday school teachers, and scholars will find this volume extremely helpful. -Jerry Vines First Baptist Church Jacksonville, Florida
