DR. KRISTY A. BRUGAR is professor of social studies education, instructional leadership, and academic curriculum at the University of Oklahoma. Dr. Brugar’s work appears in journals such as The Elementary School Journal, Journal of Social Studies Research, and Journal of Teacher Education.
