Shed So Many Tears is a story of shared struggle, soul-searching and self-discovery. Liz is a mother on a mission, dedicated to single parenting her only child, Malik, into manhood while making sure he avoids his imprisoned father's plight...or something much worse. This comes with her juggling work, night school, and a jumble of personal issues. Meanwhile, Malik finds himself goin' through it. He strives, with his comrade Drizzle, to negotiate his way around the traps of the Milwaukee streets. This becomes practically impossible once drama hits too close to home, and Malik calls on his ruthless twin cousins for backup.
