CHAPTER 1

On a hot summer day a big fluffy cat visited our house, He was thirsty and Mom gave him a drink of cold water.

The big fluffy cat was old and looked a mess.

surely he had traveled far in his many years. He spent his afternoon sleeping on the porch.

"That's OK," said Mom.

"He is just visiting!"

The next day he was still visiting. Napping under the rose bushes while Dad mowed the lawn.

"That's OK," said Dad.

"He is just visiting!"

Dad washed his truck in the afternoon and the big fluffy cat rested on a soft towel near the garage.

"That's OK," Said Dad.

"He is just visiting!"

After all the chores were done. Dad sat in his favorite Chair to rest and watch the old movies on TV. Dad brushed the big cat's matted fur, and then he thought he might call the visiting cat Rambo because he also liked to hunt in the garden.

One morning the visiting can almost went golfing with dad. It was a good thing Dad found him sleeping in the truck.

"That's OK," said Dad.

"He is just visiting!"

The visiting cat went to nap on top of the garden shed. Where the birds loudly sang their best song for him, in the shady trees.

"That's OK," Said Mom.

"He is just visiting!"

Finally the visiting cat got on top of the car. When Mom had a good idea to go to the pet store. Mom came home with a kitty bed.

"Now we'll always know where he is sleeping." Said Mom.
