Synopsis

Ignacio started writing as a way to express what he was experiencing. He grew up in sunny Southern California. At a young age he lived with his parents and siblings in Baldwin Park, Ca. As a teenager they all moved to West Covina where he went to Workman High School and had friends that were close enough to inspire him. Starting at a young age there were many words written with a chance to be cherished by close friends and family. By placing himself in the moment and absorbing the feelings around him, he has captured those things that many people think and wish to express but can't find a way. There is true emotion within each word and phrase. There are pictures that develop in the mind to represent what each word is describing. A vision of words that can be read and felt with the not only the mind but the heart.

Chapter One

           Love


            In My Childhood

    Nothing could make me happier than being the person you fell in love with
    since day one.
    And even though we can call each other, ones soul mate; we are worlds
    apart.
    Some call me a fool for being such a loving person; I don't care, love has
    always kept me young.
    With you, there was something special in your gaze when your lips caressed
    my broken heart.

    One day I took a stroll down memory lane.
    In it, I found my childhood admiring so freely.
    Everything from the breeze, the streets, the schools, the trees, all remains the
    same.
    The only thing that has changed has been me.
    I was lost once, did not know what the future held when I ran away.
    I was confused; I was devastated to the point of no return.
    All I wanted was to be in your arms and for you to tell me everything would
    be ok.
    I need you now more than ever; patience is not my virtue, but a quality I need
    to learn.

    In my childhood; I don't know why I can still remember this,
    I wondered who I'd keep safe, living through all those wonderful years.
    In life, I knew all kinds of love, but I wondered if true love could actually
    exist.
    Then one day you appeared and whispered; "I love you so much", in my ears.


            May 1, 2010

    One year ago today I saw my life flash before my eyes.
    You walked in through the door and had the most amazing laugh.
    And though your reluctance to notice me was like a thousand
    knives; my life would never be the same. It's filled with memories;
    it all began with the memory of your photograph.

    Was it the dozen roses that filled your office the following day?
    Or was it because you were still in love with me?
    In hindsight, does it really matter why you are with me today?
    You love me more than I could ever ask for. The same principles
    apply in life as they do in love; there is no guarantee.

    Was it the fear of losing you to another man who would hold you
    at night as you fall asleep?
    Was it the fear of losing my soul mate when you were within reach?
    Was it fear in knowing I could love you more than anyone else in the world?
    Was it fate when I received a phone call when I was reminiscing at the
    beach?

    Was it fear in knowing you were slipping through my finger tips?
    Was it fear of the unknown that drove me to your front door?
    Would you open it? Would you take that chance? At that moment;
    I didn't know; but I never wanted to look back and regret not
    saying, "I need you as much as you need me, if not more."


             A Beauty Like You

    What have I done to deserve a beauty like you?
    I don't remember doing anything considered to be worthy.
    What have I done to kiss a beauty like you?
    I feel the need when I'm with you to act like no one but me.
    In you, I find myself wanting you more and more.
    In you, I want to give you everything inside of me.
    I want you to know that fear does not exist anymore.
    What have I done to meet a spirit so free?
    So many wrongs in my life I need to answer for.
    But by God's grace he has given my heart your beauty.
    He has given me the chance to love again like before.
    By chance we met and so I consider myself so lucky.
    A spirit blessed; a spirit released; a spirit to adore.
    A beauty like you; a free spirit like me
    I want to love you more than I can possibly love.
    Could there be so much love I can offer you?
    I'm willing to let myself be vulnerable for you.
    I'm willing for a beauty like you to go deep in my heart.
    I'm willing to take a chance where two roads meet.
    All I know is that with you my life is complete.


            On The Horizon

    The rising fog burns off slowly on the horizon with every passing hour.
    As the sun breaks through, the colors grow brighter; the roses are a bloom with
    every other beautiful flower.
    The aroma of life travels across the hills with the wind touching my soul.
    And with every breath, and with every step I take, my love for her melts away
    all the snow.

    She stares at me with those caramel eyes.
    She lifts me up whenever I'm feeling down.
    She provides me a passionate kiss from where the wind cleared the skies.
    No need to worry, I'm in her arms as she wears her wedding gown.

    My heart feels younger as my body gets older with every smile I take.
    Where did all the time go?
    I feel the knees tearing with every birthday cake.
    It doesn't matter; every day is new, every kiss is tender,
    Every hug is stronger, and with every good-bye; I receive a hello.

    When I travel through life whether through the good times
    or the bad times; its home, it's where you are,
    it's where I want to be; forever.


            Love Prevails

    What can I ever say to you that won't hurt you in the end?
    Would it be the truth, a half truth; would you even consider it to be the
    truth?
    You told me once you loved me; you once told me you'd always be my friend.
    I was told there would come a day when the pain would subside; a lie since
    my youth!

    And now I sleep in ruins; a soul empty from before I was born; a soul to
    wither away.
    The heart is breaking; it could only take so much before the pulse begins to
    slow down.
    My hands are shaking from the pounding inside my head; the pain comes back
    every day.
    A slow death is something I don't welcome; the tears are coming fast;
    Starting ... To ... Drown.

    Never did I wish, nor did I realize there is so much pain when it comes to true
    love.
    I was once told that `Love is the greatest of these; hopes all things, Love never
    fails.'
    I never failed love in no uncertain terms; I failed myself in thinking I could
    give it a shove.
    I failed to realize the number one rule in Love; it does not seek its own, Love
    prevails.


          Love is You

    From the moment I saw you across the courtyard like a slow motion film in
    color, your hair flying in the wind, your smile electrifying my heart, your lips
    radiant against the morning sky; I knew one day your heart would be mine.

    I don't know if you noticed me the first time we met, or if you knew I existed.
    I don't know if you remember the first time your heart skipped when you saw
    me walk by your presence. All I do know is that you did notice and I somehow
    made an impression in your smile. I was able to lift your spirits and make you
    laugh and love at the same time.

    When in look into your eyes I can see and feel all the love you have for me. It's
    like looking into a mirror and seeing my own reflection in you. There is nothing
    I wouldn't do for you. I'd stop at nothing to make you happy.

    Love is an obsession. Love is complete with you in my life. Love is embracing
    you as you fall asleep in my arms. Love is watching your every move so I can
    protect you from harm. Love is never saying I won't but rather I will. Love
    never fails. Love is YOU.

    You are the most beautiful woman in the world to me. Love is massaging your
    eyes under candle light. Love is kissing you when I wake up from a dream.
    Love is calling out to you in the shower. Love is singing to you as we make
    love in rhythm. Love is knowing your touch makes me melt. Love is YOU.
    You are everything to me. Love is knowing you will be there when I arrive
    home. Love is knowing I will take care of you when you fall ill. Love is
    presenting you with flowers for no reason at all. Love is creating words from
    my heart and sending them to you. Love is YOU.
    Love is YOU. Love is calling out my name in your cute fashion. Love is finding
    you in me when I was lost. Love is loving me in return when I don't deserve
    to be loved. Love is finding a medium between two hearts. Love is where I
    want to be.

    Love is YOU.


           Dreaming In Heaven

    In these cold, wet, and rainy days, I think of you. Not because I'm sad, but
    because you will provide comfort and warmth when I love you.

    And if sadness enters my heart, I know now how to escape from the treacherous
    path that leads to destruction. I search for the one who has given me hope, the
    one who will provide me with love, the one where life would be meaningless if
    ever she was taken away from me.

    Her sweet voice speaks to me when I hold her against my body, and when I
    kiss her neck, her petite figure envelopes me.

    I dream of her constantly at night. I'm taken away to a world not of my own.
    The moon shines through the clouds after a storm to give me light. Her words
    put me at ease when she whispers how I will never be alone.

    When I awake, she is the same angel in my dreams who is lying next to my
    side. She is also awake and asks, "How did you sleep?" I answer, "Same as
    always, peacefully living in Heaven with you as my bride."


           God's Work

    Keep your head up and smile for me.
    Don't look back anymore.
    Look around the corner, trust your heart.
    Not so far in the distance, an open door.
    I wait patiently for you.
    You wait patiently for me.
    I see your picture in everything I touch.
    It's only there to remind me
    How your beauty was a touch
    Of God's work and my good fortune.
    There is a knock on the door.
    I trust it to be you.
    Amazing! Just amazing!
    Innocence behind your eyes.
    Love in your smile, passion is your kiss.
    Perfection in you.
    Why are there jealous eyes
    Following my every move?
    They are not staring at me,
    They are staring at you.


           Heaven

    I want Heaven in my Heart;
    I'm alive in you.
    You've been my Heaven from the start.
    I put my trust in you.

    And in your Kiss I can feel your desire;
    and in your Love I grow strong.
    I want heaven in my heart;
    and in your Arms is where I belong.

    I want to make you smile with a dozen roses;
    I want to make you feel like someone special.
    I want to make you laugh at all my funny jokes;
    I want you to know my love for you is unconditional.

    In my Kiss do you feel my desire?
    In my Love do you grow strong?
    You are heaven in my heart!
    In My Arms is where you belong!

    You made me realize why couples watch the sun set.
    Why they do for their partners without asking in return.
    Why there are so many pictures with us in silhouette.
    I'm alive in you; I put my trust in you; in you I yearn.

    I want to climb the highest mountain and scream your name.
    I want the entire world to know you are my love.
    I want them to know all the fire and the love flowing in every vein.
    I want them to know you are the one I wrote of.

    Love, you are my life; without you I become undone.
    And when we make love; two souls become one.


           Valentine's Day

    In my wildest dreams, I never dreamt I'd hold you in my arms.
    In all my dreams, I only think of you.
    In my dreams, you'd stare into my eyes and whisper, "I Love You!"
    Without you my life has no meaning.
    With you, you make my love perfect.
    And when you are the most vulnerable,
    You would be the one I'd protect.

    Let me return the gift you have given me my entire life,
    I'm not speaking about heart shaped chocolate candy sweets,
    Nor heart shaped diamond earrings with a matching necklace,
    Though I know you wouldn't think twice of accepting my treats.

    Let me give you the gift of my heart.
    It beats only for you and skips when you are near.
    Let me softly kiss you on your neck and then your lips,
    Let me softly kiss your nose and then your eyes,
    When I kiss you, what do you feel? What do you hear?

    Do you hear my voice
    Calling out to you in the middle of night?
    Do you feel my breath when we embrace
    And tell you everything will be all right?

    Do you feel my lips?
    I can taste yours unto mine.
    Do you read into my soul?
    I've read into yours;
    It tells me you're my Valentine!

    I Love You,
    With all my heart and all my soul.
    I present to you the only gift I can bestow; my heart.
    Something I should have done a long time ago.


           Valentines Day 2011

    Been in love before. I remember what it was like the first time. I lay awake
    to hear her breathe and to read her mind. She whispers, "I've never been loved
    like this. Come here and softly give me a kiss."

    Today, like any other day I strolled pass a lovely room. It reminded me of you,
    for the aroma was like your sweet perfume. I entered, closed my eyes, and I
    imagined the first time you kissed me. I became intoxicated by your softness,
    by your confidence, by your beauty.

    Yesterday; I would laugh at the thought of being so far away. I never had the
    confidence to look into your eyes and tell you how I feel. I would walk pass
    you so many times and quickly glance to see if one of God's angels were real.

    Tomorrow; I never imagined a day without you. A day like any other day
    where I would fall in love again and again for the very first time. What
    frightened me the most was hoping you feel the same as I do. I know now I
    have your heart and you have mine.

    Forever; my only hope is for you to love me the way I love you. A love and
    understanding of laughter, of silliness, of complete submission to each other
    where we can meet halfway. A place where I can get lost when the rain falls
    and all I can see is you. A place to call home; a place where I can grow flowers
    to give you every Valentine's Day.


            Love And Romance

    On the road, I was searching frantically for a boutique to purchase some flowers
    and heart shaped chocolates before the carriage carried us to our evening meal.
    Under the stars, you stepped out in your purple gown and realized all the
    hours you put into looking so amazing; I knew this night would end up being
    surreal.

    After the 1787 Chateau Lafite bottle of wine, we searched for a breath fresh
    of air. We strolled casually towards paradise in the fragrance of exotic plants
    and trees. May I land a gentle kiss on your cool lips before you unwind on your
    bamboo chair? We will have children of our own here in Little Palm Island
    off the Florida Keys.


            Love Continues

    Love, I found you by the ocean sitting in the cold.
    May I join you and tell you my secrets one by one.
    Love, the moon shines on you and what if I told
    you your beauty, your life, has just begun.

    Love; thank-you for being my friend forever.
    May I listen to your thoughts and your serenading voice?
    Love, the lyrics are in your heart breaking the tempest weather.
    I can hear your singing thru the crashing waves making all this noise.

    And the crashing waves are there to remind me of
    the difficult endeavors I must pass through.
    But the waves are calm and in the soft wind there is love.
    I've had this lasting inspiration that I keep wanting to renew.


            Good Morning Sweetheart

    Good morning sweetheart
    I hope you had a good night filled with rest.
    Did you have any dreams of me?
    I hope you did the way you kept biting my chest.
    While you were in the shower I made you some hot coffee,
    A few cubes of sugar
    And a drop of milk to sooth the taste, right?
    Oh, and remember when you begin to have a rough day,
    I'll be here to make it alright.


           Goodnight Sweetheart

    Goodnight sweetheart.
    Have a good night sleep.
    Tell me in the morning of all your dreams,
    They are worth a fortune, they are not cheap.
    Close your eyes and tell me what you see.
    When your heart skips a beat,
    Know that it was from me.
