About the Author

Lisa Burke graduated from the University of Cambridge. She began her career at Sky News, where she covered science, weather, and the news for a decade, as well as hosted documentaries (including one in which she dived with whale sharks!). She has written and consulted on numerous science books, including DK's How to be a Scientist and Mini Scientist series.

Lord Robert Winston is Professor of Science and Society and Emeritus Professor of Fertility Studies at Imperial College London. He is one of a kind--a world-renowned scientist who has combined ground-breaking academic work with an ability to communicate ideas and understanding to the general public. Recently he has demonstrated amazing science experiments on The Late Late Show with James Corden.
