About the Author

Jane Goldsmith lives with Jake, the subject of her book, in Bedfordshire. Jane spent a year in France working with Sloughis (Arabian Greyhounds) in 1975. Jane owned several of her own Saluki's (variation of the Sloughi) before adopting a Greyhound from a rescue centre. Jane has always enjoyed writing and this is her first publication. Jane has been a racegoer, horses and Greyhound, from a young age, but is aware of the darker side of the Greyhound industry where dogs are abandoned or destroyed by the thousand. Therefore the book is sold in aid of animal and Greyhound rescue.
