About the Author

I am a twenty seven year old young black woman. I have been writing since the age of twelve. My writings were mainly poems that allowed me to get out the different emotions that sometimes held me captive. What served as personal therapy for myself became entertainment for family, friends, and the listening crowds when I spoke at small functions. Nearly 15 years later after writing my fi rst poem; SAD BAD BIOLOGICAL DAD, I release this. My fi rst book. "AFTER THIS NO MORE COMPROMISING", is another piece of my heart, where I release years of emotions, hurts and pains from past failed relationships, deciding to get free from the chains of bondage from the past. I wrote this book to simply help someone who wants the help. I dont believe we can effectively help each other without telling each other where we've been at the right time. I presently reside in Paterson, NJ. I am a single mother of a 4 year old boy and I love encouraging people anyway that I can.
