About the Author

Dr. Baker is a Board Certified Family Physician practicing in a rural community near a major metropolis of his state. He did his Residency training in that metropolis and most of the cases are from that training. He changed to medicine as a career in mid-life, entailing a great shift in thinking and behaviors. He has enjoyed writing and telling stories since he was a teenager. After accumulating dozens of cases of difficult patient encounters and the outcomes of those encounters, he felt these stories would be interesting and entertaining to the public as well as the medical profession.
