About the Author
George Jacob Holyoake (1817-1906) was a prominent British social reformer and co-operator. He coined the term 'secularism' and was a staunch advocate for social justice, labor rights, and education reform. Holyoake's contributions to the co-operative movement and his progressive ideals have left a lasting impact on social and economic reforms in Britain.
