Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good Dust Jacket. First Edition So Stated. This book with dust jacket is clean, solid and in great shape! This is an oversized, First Edition hardcover book with 297 pages including many photos and illustrations. The binding is strong with all pages firmly attached. The pages are clean with no soiling or tears. The copyright page states 1983 First Printing with no other dates or printings shown. This is definitely Not a former library book. The dust jacket shows light edgewear (no chips) and a prior owner wrote the number 5 on the top left of the DJ with a sharpie marker. There is also a 5 written on the first blank endpaper - no other markings. I have placed the DJ in a fresh mylar jacket and this book looks and feels great! We always ship in a sturdy cardboard box! Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Good. First Edition. Very good in a good dust jacket with heavy fading to red background along spine. No jacket chips and not price-clipped. Jacket has some short tears and rubbing. Slight bumps to corners. No markings or bookplate. Unlike the recent paperback reprint, this original edition has crisp, sharp b/w photos and drawings along with a section of color plates. The paperback reprint apparently was generated by scanning an original copy of the book, and to be polite, looks positively awful.
