Synopsis
This book is a practical study guide to be used in preparation for the electrocardiographic interpretation section of the American Board of Internal Medicine Cardiovascular Disease Board Examination. It will also be useful as a concise reference for physicians involved in electrocardiographic interpretation on a day–to–day basis.
Part I is a listing of the major electrocardiographic scoring criteria commonly used in standardized ECG proficiency tests including past cardiology board examinations. Each of the electrocardiographic diagnosis is defined and/or described. Part II includes 80 sample electrocardiograms to be scored using the criteria. Each electrocardiogram is discussed and the correct coding listed.
