About the Author
Gay N. Martin is an award-winning writer whose books include Alabama Off the Beaten Path. Her writings have appeared in Modern Bride, Seventeen, the Boston Herald, and the Times-Picayune. An award-winning writer and photographer, Jackie Sheckler Finch is a member of the Society of American Travel Writers and Midwest Travel Writers Association. She has been named The Mark Twain Travel Writer of the Year a record six times by MTWA. Jackie has written thousands of newspaper and magazine articles, as well as writing for websites and blogging. Jackie is a travel writer for Small Newspaper Syndicate and a cruise blogger for All Things Cruise and Crown Cruise vacations. She is also an international travel writer for Examiner.com and an active member of Twitter and Pinterest. She has written and updated about 15 travel books for Globe Pequot Press and has written an app Insider’s Guide to Indianapolis for Sutro Media. A resident of Bloomington, Indiana, Jackie is the editor of Homes and Lifestyles of South-Central Indiana magazine where she writes a travel article for each bi-monthly issue.
