The Sims is a simple and wonderful game: you take a bunch of virtual people and run their lives for them. Odd though the idea may sound, just a few hours' playing could spell the end for your own life. Coping with your Sims' needs for food, cleanliness and money is enough to drive anyone loopy--unless, of course, you're sensible enough to own this guide from Prima. Don't, whatever you do, dive straight into this book if you're playing for the first time. This is meant to be read once you've become reasonably proficient at the game, as it is not so much a "how to" but a "how it works" book. With the basics mastered, any inquisitive player is naturally going to want to know how to get the most out of the game, and that's what this book tells you. There's a fair amount of number crunching, as the mathematical values behind the workings of the game are revealed but alongside that there are endless fascinating tips on how to make your Sims the pride of your virtual neighbourhood.
