The author begins by describing the history of the wheeled military vehicle. A country-by-country A-Z directory then covers over 185 specific vehicles in detail. The origins and development of each vehicle are clearly described, and a specification panel gives key performance and dimensional data.

About the Author
Pat Ware was the founding editor of Classic Military Vehicle magazine in 2001 and continues as a major contributor to this day. He is also military editor for Land Rover Enthusiast magazine and is well known as a knowledgeable commentator at the yearly War & Peace Show at Beltring in Kent, England.
