From its distinguished antecedents in the great houses of Europe and America, the tassel is still much-favoured by contemporary designers and decorators. With this unique book you can create your own wonderful, opulent tassels at a fraction of the cost of commercially bought trimmings, and in the style and colours of your choice. Step-by-step photographs make the assembly of the most fanciful tassel straightforward and accessible. Clear guidance is given on all the special equipment you may need, and every project clearly details the threads used to exactly reproduce the result shown. With over 350 beautiful new photographs, Tassels for the Home is the most comprehensive and accessible guide yet published on the subject.
