It covers the knowledge and understanding required as part of any competency-based management programme.

This new edition includes two new sections on marketing and new management thinking and covers the new areas of the CMI diploma syllabus. It is also suitable for NVQ national units of managerial competence and personal competency required to perform at management level 4.

Rob Dixon is a Professor in Management Accountancy at Durham University Business School. He lectures in management, finance and accountancy and has been responsible for directing the Full-Time and the Distance Learning MBA programmes. He is author of a number of books and articles in the field.
