Synopsis
Although technology has developed significantly, and continues to change at a rapid pace, this third edition of PC Based Instrumentation and Control contains a measure of guidance on computer control, instrumentation and data acquisition using a standard PC and some of the most popular computer languages.
Numerous examples of configurations and working circuits, as well as representative software, offer basic hands-on guidance to implementing PC-based testing and calibration systems and increasing efficiency. It shows some methods for modifying the circuits and software routines.
The third edition gives some coverage of PC hardware, bus systems, and virtual instruments. It introduces programming and software development in a 32-bit environment.
