Ley lines have been the subject of heated debate between ley hunters and archaeologists ever since their discovery by Alfred Watkins in the 1920s. In the 75 years since their discovery they have been atttributed mystical meaning, been associated with prehistoric travellers, UFOs, invisible earth energies, ghosts, marauding spirits, shamans, madmen and the feet of angels.
