Synopsis

Part of the Question of Faith series, Exploring Prayer offers a gentle introduction to the subject of prayer for those on the edges of faith and for new Christians. Practical in focus, it helps readers to begin the adventure of prayer using all their senses, and blends teaching with practical exercises to introduce the multi-faceted world of prayer in an accessible way. Rather than providing all the answers, Exploring Prayer endeavours to guide the reader through their own personal journey, highlighting some of the wisdom of the Christian tradition along the way.

As we grow and change, so our praying will grow and deepen too.' People of all backgrounds pray. Many are longing to make a spiritual connection with something or someone bigger than themselves. In this book Sue Mayfield introduces readers to the multi-faceted subject of prayer.
