Synopsis

Master-thief Parker is caught and banged up in a prison from which no one has ever escaped. Even after he manages it he is still in big trouble.
In a hulking drab warehouse in a hulking drab city in the centre of an empty state, Parker is caught moving pharmaceuticals into a waiting truck. Led into a joint called Stoneveldt - from which no one has ever escaped - Parker has to find a way out, before his whole violent past catches up with him. And getting out of Stoneveldt means taking on the only partners he can find, including one who is already planning his next job.
For Parker and his fellow jail breakers, freedom is just another word for committing their next felony. They pull off the perfect jailbreak and then start the prefect heist. But things go south in a hurry - leaving three men dead and Parker and his fellow escape artists scratching, clawing, and running for their lives.

Laminated Boards. Condition: Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good. Colligan, Derek (illustrator). First Edition. Ex-library copy of the first UK edition. Originally published in the US by Mysterious Press Books in 2002. There is a spine lean and a little edge wear to the laminated boards. The page edges have some marking with a patch of brown spotting to the top edges near the top corner. The front free endpaper has a library label, a withdrawn stamp and a price in pen. Library label to the copyright page. The rear pastedown has some small pen marks and there are small patches of surface tearing to the pastedowns where the jacket cover has been taped to them. Light marks to the pages in a few places but the pages are generally otherwise unmarked. The jacket has a little label residue at the base of the spine and some light edge wear.
