Synopsis
Edited by Professor Emeritus of English at the University of California, Berkeley, who is an opponent of psychoanalysis, a collection of essays by historians and critics making the revisionist case against Freud. Classic Freudian tenets, such as free association, symbolic dream interpretation and penis envy are argued to be fundamentally flawed.
