About the Author

Andrew Johnson after taking degress at Cambridge and Oxford, moved to the Scottish island of Harris, where he and his wife have spent most of the past 15 years rebuilding and running a country house hotel and restaurant. His interests include philosophy, conservation and sailing small boats.
