From the Author

Baby Betsy arrives during a snowstorm...and trouble!
The energy to get this Littles story going belongs to Cousin Dinky Little's singular mother, tiny Aunt Lily, who taught herself to be a nurse/doctor person by living in the walls of a big doctor's house watching him take care of patients and reading old medical books in the attic. Aunt Lily hastens the occurence of a big problem for tiny Mrs. Little --who is about to give birth to her third child with Aunt Lily's help-- when she makes Dinky fly her to Mrs. Little's bedside at night in a snow storm, during which she falls out of Dinky's glider into the Dark Woods having forgotten to fasten her seat belt! Will this undaunted tiny woman find a way out of this scary situation?
