Condition: FINE. First printing. A book which re-creates in simple text and evocative black and white photographs by Binzen, the vitality of a city park. Binzen, who also wrote and illustrated many children's books during his years as a photographer was known for his attention to composition and the evocation of mood - both characteristics seen in these photographs, taken over a period of several months in various parks in New York City.
