About the Author
Daniel Goldmark is an Associate Professor of Musicology at Case Western University. A specialist in the field of American popular music, film and cartoon music, and the history of the music industry, he is the series editor of the Oxford Music/Media Series of Oxford Univeristy Press and a senior editor of The Grove Dictionary of American Music.
