About the Author
An attorney by profession and a student of language by avocation, Tom Dalzell is the author of several books in this field, including The Concise New Partridge Dictionary of Slang and Unconventional English (2007) and The Routledge Dictionary of Modern American Slang and Unconventional English (2008). In 2010, Dover will publish his Damn the Man! Slang of the Oppressed in America.
