Synopsis
Exploring Translation Theories presents a comprehensive analysis of the key traditional and contemporary paradigms of translation theory.

The book closes with a survey of the way translation is used as a model in postmodern cultural studies and sociologies, extending the scope beyond traditional Western notions.

About the Author
Anthony Pym is Professor and Director of postgraduate programmes in Translation and Intercultural Studies at Rovira i Virgili University in, Tarragona, Spain. He is also a member of the International Advisory Board for the Translation Studies journal.
