Synopsis
Cultural Studies is an international journal, dedicated to the notion that the study of culture and especially popular culture as both theoretically and politically rewarding. Cultural Studies is in the vanguard of developments worldwide and its lively international dialogue consists of not only scholarly research and discourse, but also of new forms of writing, photo essays, cultural reviews and political interventions. Now under new general editors, Cultural Studies will seek to develop and transform those perspectives which have traditionally informed the field - structuralism and semiotics, Marxism, psychoanalysis and feminism - while continuing to bring together the most influential voices in the field.
