Michael, - another vexatious delay, which he had begged hard to be spared, but without effect. His position was a most painful one; for, by this time, he was reduced to such straits that he was even compelled to ask his brother-elect to pay their joint expenses, making provision dc eaculmta's ct poculentz's for both of them and he engaged to settle his share of the accmmt later 011. They were consecrated' by the Archbishop, at Canterbury, on the day appointed, the 13th of October, 1308.
