The authors examine the practical and theoretical aspects that are key to understanding and undertaking interactive teaching in primary classrooms. The project is unique in using its own interactive processes, 'Reflective Dialogues', to help teachers make sense of their own teaching. This process includes capturing and analysing classroom sessions on video; and cameos of these classroom interactions are discussed throughout the book. About the Author
Janet Moyles is Professor of education and research at APU and an early childhood education specialist, particularly in the areas of play, teaching and learning.
Linda Hargreaves is a lecturer at the University of Cambridge Faculty of Education where she teaches on the primary PGCE and M.Ed (Research) courses.
Roger Merry is senior lecturer in primary education at the University of Leicester with research interests in cognitive psychology, special needs education and English teaching.
Fred Paterson is currently a Research Officer at the National College for School Leadership.
Veronica Esarte-Sarries has worked on a number of educational projects at Leeds and Durham Universities.
