They had often by their Agents, reprefented the Hardfhips of this A612, to the molt Excellent the Duke of Arcos, Viceroy of the Kin g dom; the Women and Children wou'd often meet him in' the Street, and With miferable Cries and Lamentations beg of him to releal'e the Gabel: and the Citizens of Lavinaro, and other Quarters, placed themfelves in Com panics, as he pan'ed upon a Day thro' the market-place, to pay his Donation to the mol't holy mother of Carmine.
