Synopsis
There are some things we are not meant to know. Some people know those things anyway. It's hard to be them. Evil and uncanny things are all around, and in sheer self-defence, most people learn not to see. Fortunately, a few people can deal with the truth. From San Francisco to the Amazonian rain forest, an uncanny group of adventurers fight against the Incumbents. In a milieu where thaumaturgy is a laboratory science, and raw pain can be kept in a flask of liquid nitrogen, this motley band of alchemists, thaumaturgists, and totemists have to save a world that doesn't know it's under attack by forces beyond comprehension.

About the Author
Stephan Zielinski was born in Buffalo, New York and raised in California. He has attended clown school and the University of California at Berkeley, and written statistics code on both sides of the Iron Curtain. Bad Magic is his first novel.
