Many books have been written about the parables of Jesus and what they mean. This book introduces a different approach to the interpretation of the parables, namely, parables as analogies. John Sider uses an inductive method, drawing on extrabiblical literature in his discussion of how the parables of Scripture can best be understood and interpreted. He also examines from different angels the prevalent theory that each parable of Jesus has only one meaning.
