Dust Jacket Condition: Acceptable. 1984 signed presentation copy, University of Washington Press (Seattle, Washington), oblong 10 1/2 x 8 5/8 inches tall blue cloth hardcover in publisher's unclipped dust jacket, silver lettering to spine, color design endpapers, copiously illustrated with mostly black-and-white photographs and drawings, index, 192 pp. Very slight soiling and rubbing to covers. On the copyright/dedication page, presentation inscription by author Richard Proctor (1936-2022) to his mother, to whom the book is dedicated. Otherwise, a near fine copy - clean, bright and unmarked - in an edgeworn dust jacket which has a few chips and a 1 1/2-inch closed edge tear but which is nicely preserved and displayed in a clear archival Brodart sleeve.
