Synopsis

The editors have revised the book to take account of developments in the European Community and its law since 1980. These include the accession of Portugal and Spain; progress towards the formation of a vast internal market within the twelve member states; and the Single European Act of 1986. They have updated and arranged the basic laws so that they can be studied coherently.
